On my first appointment with Mr Hannan, I found him very friendly and approachable and he put me at ease from the moment I walked into the consulting room. Mr Hannan was very thorough explaining the diagnosis, he took the time to explain everything in great detail about my condition, what would happen through surgery and post operatively, and I left the appointment feeling reassured that I was in the best capable hands. Subsequently all of the staff who looked after me, both as an out patient at the Royal Free and during my stay at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, provided me with the most exceptional care and I can't thank them enough.

Initially, I was referred to a respiratory Consultant by my GP, who in turn referred me to Mr Hannan. Mr Hannan immediately put me at ease with his friendly, sympathetic and professional approach. I provided Mr Hannan with my historical symptoms in great detail. He carefully noted down all this information and clearly explained his plan of action in order to diagnose my condition. Throughout my referral, Mr Hannan was reassuring, listened to everything I had to say, explained every part of the process and was clear, after his examination, on what I needed to do in order to treat my condition. He was able to see me at short notice and saw me on time. A letter summarising my visit was promptly sent to me, following my visit, accurately detailing everything we had spoken about. I had a second follow up visit and the experience was exactly the same. I cannot recommend Mr Hannan highly enough and it was an absolute pleasure to deal with him. Going forward, if I or my family, need to see an ENT Consultant, then I would insist that that we be referred to Mr Hannan. A perfect Consultant who helped me to recover from my illness.

I had sinusitis and, as it transpired, a deviated nasal septum. I was sent to see Mr Hannan. What a stroke of luck! He is an excellent communicator, tells you everything you want to know in as much detail as you want, all simply explained. He conducted my surgery, and following what was frankly a much shorter recovery than I expected, my sinuses are as good as new. I can breath easily and with my nasal septum straightened everything works. I would not hesitate to recommend him. Absolutely top class.

After leaving Mr Hannan's appointment, me and my husband felt very reassured and fully understood our daughter's condition. Mr Hannan was extremely professional and listened to all our concerns attentively. The biggest positive about him is that he is very welcoming and I did not feel nervous about expressing my concerns openly. I definately felt that I made the right decision in choosing to see Mr Hannan about my daughters condition as his knowledge, experience and welcoming nature makes the journey in understanding an area of unknown, the perfect journey.
